A Warm, Fresh Welcome
Hello everybody!
A warm welcome here from Dennis and Brandon at the Peaceful World Foundation! Think of this as the introduction to the Foundation itself. We plan on blogging 2-3 times weekly to share our thoughts and feelings, and to be able to let everyone know what is going on.

We hope you've checked out our website and read over what we're about and what we do. But, in case you haven't, here's a summary of our three areas of focus:
1: The Peaceful World Center at the Red Vic serves as a venue and event center (a meeting place) for progressive organizations and individuals in San Francisco and the Bay Area. As a hub where organizations and individuals can engage with each other, the center is a great place to host a meeting, make new friends at a conversation, or participate in one of the many events put on by various local organizations. Uses of the space include, but are not limited to: Lectures, Classes, Group Meetings, Concerts and Recitals, Readings, Game Nights, Discussion Groups, and Films.
2: Our Peaceful World Conversation program: These conversations are designed to bring people together to talk about topics that matter in their own lives and in the world as a whole.
3: Peaceful World Foundation promotes emerging entrepreneurs in the developing world. Microloans are small amounts of money lent to individuals and groups to support their entrepreneurial endeavors. These seemingly small amounts are making huge differences, enabling the recipients to start small business projects and raise their quality of life.
We want to let everyone know our activities. We also very much encourage YOU to engage us and post comments on this blog, and also to email us with any questions or comments you might have. It is only through active engagement that change and Peace have the possibility of coming about! Remember, we're all in this together.
Have a good day!
