 PEACEFUL WORLD NOW AND IN 2027       IMAGINING THE FUTURE

   Our foundation is located in the Haight Ashbury in San Francisco, California. We are privileged to work out of a historical landmark providing guestrooms, a healthy cafe, a meditative art gallery, and a living peace museum for travelers to enjoy, self-reflect, and converse. 

   
    Sami Sunchild structured her Peaceful World Foundation as a nonprofit foundation, tapping the network of innkeepers, café owners, social entrepreneurs, conversation hosts, writers, and others to contribute their experience as volunteer mentors to fledgling hospitality entrepreneurs. She priced the Peaceful World hospitality trainings and motivational art so that they appealed and were accessible to a broad audience. Four decades later, Peaceful World Foundation is credited with ushering in the interdependent entrepreneurial hospitality and travel movements, which today ensures that travelers can be more than mere “tourists” and that, by the thousands, they have become global participants with access to cultures they visit.

   Locally oriented hospitality of worldwide entrepreneurs is recognized and appreciated, and travelers have access to a whole host of options – from thought provoking conversations to participatory local cultural opportunities. A new social equilibrium in the travel industry, which when she began felt tenuous, is now firmly established.

   
Since 2006 and the inception of our 501(c)3 non-profit, Peaceful World Foundation, our for-profit activities have been slowly transitioned into mission driven projects of our not for profit foundation. It is always important to remember that peace starts within. If we do not have peace in our hearts it will be impossible to teach peace to the world. Therefore, the World Peace Center is in all of us who have found the path to inner peace. Please join us and share the eternal journey!
