About Us

Our international headquarters is the Peaceful World Center at the Red Vic in San Francisco, a gathering place for social change-minded organizations and individuals. Home to concerts, lecture series, readings, film showings, conversations, meetings and anything else imaginable, The Center is itself a vital part of the foundation. Creating a setting for ideas to be shared, shaped and sampled is as important to formation of social progress and peace as the ideas themselves. It is here that the dynamism of the networks we create develops. The Art Galerie Salon, our community parlor, is available as an event space and conference room.

We are actively creating a global network of interpersonal and trans-cultural conversation venues where people from various backgrounds can meet each other at hosted Peaceful World Conversations. These informal gatherings allow participants to engage with other members of the global community in a personal, meaningful way. Interacting with others, through travel or community based initiatives, builds understanding across cultural and physical space. Peace grows from understanding and empathy. Allowing people to talk out their differences and become aware of their similarities is the first step toward building a peaceful, forward-thinking planet.

In support of this endeavor, conversations are hosted at the Peaceful World Center . We believe strongly in the power of conversation to bring people together and foster peace.

We are creating links internationally through our support of developing world entrepreneurs. Part of member donations goes to the funding of micro-loans in the developing world. We encourage members to visit one of the entrepreneurs, furthering our vision of a connected, conversed world.

When all is said and done, we believe that people care. We bring these people together and encourage collaboration. When people allow others in on a personal level, the possibilities for exchange are endless.
